RJS is the second arm of the lab, allowing us to offer a full range of inhouse products. Having been in business for over 40 years, specialising in Precision attachments, Flexible dentures and Colbalt-Chrome frameworks. RJS is known for not only working with Dentists but directly with other Laboratories nationwide. Harry took over ownership of RJS Dental in 2017, retaining RJS’s two longest standing technicians and maintaining long lasting relationships whilst building new ones.

Meet Matt:

When I left school, I worked as a lifeguard which I enjoyed but knew it wasn’t the right job for me.
Later hearing of a role at R.J.Scotcher Dental Lab as a dental technician, I tested my chances and applied. Richard Scotcher took me under his wing and taught me everything he knew in the field. Fast forward 30 years and RJS is still where I am at now, but sadly Richard passed away 8 years ago which devastated us all at RJS, as he was an outstanding mentor and friend.
Having then become a Manager for RJS Dental and maintained my position when Harry purchased the business 5 years ago and continue to till today, whilst all under one roof with a team double than I am used to.
In my career, I have gained experience across the board in prosthetics specialising in intricate areas such as Cobalt-Chromes and Precision Implant work.

I enjoy a challenge and that’s exactly what my role can be on a day-to-day basis… and that’s how the 30 years flew!

Meet Dan:

I started out at RJS in 2007, as Richard and Matt’s apprentice. Having quickly learnt the tricks of the trade whilst studying alongside, I soon graduated from Matthew Boulton college as a qualified Dental Technician.

Few years later I was given the opportunity of being the Labs Assistant Manager and that's where I am now. I specialise in Flexi-dentures of all types, whilst still carrying out the fabrication of both Acrylic and Cobalt-Chrome dentures on a day-to-day basis.
