Acrylic Dentures
We manufacture full and partial acrylic dentures using the latest techniques and technology
Our expert team use creativity, skill and experience to produce high quality, durable and aesthetically pleasing dentures. We offer dentures from NHS, Independent and Private sectors, allowing for a choice of different teeth and denture acrylic materials. All full and partial dentures are processed on duplicate models then fitted and delivered on the master models.
A service chosen in order to produce the highest quality dentures possible, where a member of our experienced and knowledgeable prosthetics team will be working in conjunction with the dentist and patient from start to finish. With the use of Biofunctional Prosthetic System (BPS) to maximise function, and giving comfort and natural appearance to the patient, this system allows the technician to adopt most of the patient’s requirements.
Premium dentures are made from an injection moulded high impact resistant acrylic, using the Ivobase system from Ivoclar Vivadent. This system produces an acrylic which forms a considerably stronger denture that is resistant to breakage. Also creating a better bond between the teeth and the denture base, less residual monomer (less allergens) and a better accuracy of fit. Premium dentures include the use of high quality teeth such as Ivoclar Vivadent Phonares and Nexco gingival composite characterisation to match the patients own natural pigmentations.
Once a Premium case is completed to our high expectations for fit, durability and aesthetics, it will be packaged in its own bespoke case.
Independent Acrylic Dentures-
All independent acrylic denture cases are set up with 4natur teeth using a semi-adjustable articulator, and are processed in a high impact acrylic. High-implant acrylic dentures are even more resistant to impact than regular acrylic dentures, without sacrificing high-quality aesthetics. They are also more resistance to flexion stress (one of the main reasons why dentures fail). During constant insertion and removal (sometimes on an axis) dentures can generate stress fractures. High-impact acrylic helps reduce this problem, giving long lasting dentures. As with standard acrylic dentures, high-impact acrylic dentures are easily adjusted if teeth need to be added or removed.
4natur teeth are created with skillful shading, internal mamelon features and naturally occurring opalescence and fluorescence. 4natur teeth are more wear resistant than standard PMMA teeth and are exceptionally strong and durable, especially when bonded with acrylic. 4natur teeth are available in various shape, sizes and colour, allowing them to replicate the patients natural teeth.
Private Acrylic Dentures-
All private acrylic dentures are made using a high impact acrylic. Where we measure the correct acrylic powder/monomer ratios for mixing the acrylic, follow the exact temperature to heat cure the acrylic over night in a controlled hot water tank. Following the heat cure process, is a natural cooling down period upon removal of acrylic from the hot water tank to maximise the strength properties. High impact acrylic has a veined effect to deliver a more natural appearance. Gum contouring and stippling is included in all private dentures to achieve natural aesthetics for the patient.
For private denture cases, we use EnigmaLife denture teeth, as they are considered the most aesthetically pleasing teeth on the market. EnigmaLife offers advanced computer technology to achieve precise control of the multiple colour layers and uniform polymerisation, making them some of the most natural looking teeth available.
